Wireless Network

The univeristy has a wireless network in addition to the standard wired network. Computers must be equipped with a wireless network adapter (802.11 a,b,g, or n) to connect to the wireless network.

  • Guild Center 802.11a/b/g partial coverage
  • Gunter 802.11a/b/g full coverage
  • Hitchins 802.11a/b/g partial coverage near President’s conference room
  • Lane Center 802.11a/b/g
  • Lowndes 802.11a/b/g full coverage
  • Ort Library 802.11a/b/g full coverage
  • PAC 802.11a/b/g full coverage
  • Pullen 802.11a/b/g partial coverage

All residence halls have partial coverage directly in (and nearby) common areas.

Guests of FSU may connect to the 'fsuguest' network with limited access to the Internet. A valid e-mail address is required to log onto this wireless network.
