| Sending
Email from within Blackboard
Blackboard enables you to send email (with attachments) to your
instructor and classmates from within your course site. All email
sent to you from within Blackboard will go to your FSU email account.
To send email with an attachment from within your
Blackboard course site,
1. Click on Communication-->Send Email.
Choose one of the available options:

2. Enter the Subject of your email and the Message.

3. Click on the Add button.

4. Click on the Browse button. Locate and double-click
on the file you want to attach to the email message.

5. Click on the Submit button located at the lower
right corner of the screen. You will get a "Receipt" notifying
you that your email was successfully sent.

Note: To read email sent by class participants
from within Blackboard, access the messages the same way you normally
do—outside the Blackboard environment. You can access your
FSU email account on the Web at http://studentmail.frostburg.edu/exchange.
Your username is the same as your Blackboard username. The default
password for new FSU email accounts is (all one string, lowercase):
first 3 digits of your social security number, followed by your
last name, followed by the last 4 digits of your social security
number.
